Milena Govich

 Milena Govich is a Serbian actor, director and singer was born on on October 29th in 1976. She is most well-known for her character in the role of NYPD Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order.



 



 Early life and education



 Govich was born in Norman County, Oklahoma. The late Dr. Bruce Michael Govich (who passed away in the year 1998) as well as Dr. Marilyn Green Govich [2were both professors of music. Marilyn teaches voice at University of Central Oklahoma, while Bruce was employed at the University of Oklahoma. Her mother is English and Scottish as well as her father is Serbian. Milica Govich is her aunt. She has been on TV, in films as well as Broadway.



 



 Milena was class valedictorian at Norman High School in 1995. As a child of academic parents, she was able to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995 as valedictorian. She earned a double-degree in premedical and performance studies, and an additional minor in violin and dance. Govich after graduation, relocated to New York City in pursuit of acting opportunities.
